Every year, every American eats an average of 16,200 kg of cheese and 10,800 kg of ice cream or frozen dairy products. It is true to say that many people are fascinated by dairy products. So it might come as a surprise to find that consumption of a variety of dairy products has been in steady decline since 2005.

According to surveys and reports from  the American Dietetic Association , Americans ‘ consumption of dairy products decreased by 22%.

The excuses people make for avoiding  dairy  are the different alternatives to milk. Including  weight loss  , purify the skin, increased energy, and disease prevention, and a few of the things that people who  follow a  system  diet  without dairy products  achieved.

But do you really know what you gain or lose when you give up dairy products and fight back?

  1. You make your ego fragile.

According to  Dr. Rebecca Black  , director of the Center for Clinical Nutrition in New York, dairy products are one of the  best sources of calcium because the body absorbs calcium from dairy products better than other foods. By eliminating dairy, you are taking a step towards osteoporosis and fractures.

He said, “If you want to exclude cow’s milk from your diet, eat more calcium sources to strengthen the skeleton, such as leafy greens (beets, kale, spinach and  broccoli  ), tofu and sardines.”

Also, according to Black’s, daily intake of calcium supplements and supplements of vitamin D  . Make sure you get it from food, as stomach acid helps absorb it.

  1. You need less makeup.

When you consume dairy products, you will need a cosmetic concealer to soften the skin: because milk may cause acne, so following a dairy-free diet  will prevent the appearance of pimples. Milk contains hormones like testosterone that stimulate the sebaceous glands in the skin and cause pimples, according to research from the Dermatos College of Medicine.

  1. Reducing the risk of cancer …

… Likewise, if your husband / wife reduces the consumption of dairy products, the same applies to him or her. Swedish researchers have found that drinking more than one cup of milk per day can increase the risk of ovarian cancer. Whether they consume it or not, they are 34% more likely to develop prostate cancer. Once again, dairy hormones are to blame; Dairy products increase the amount of  insulin  – the growth factor in the blood, which is a hormone known to fuel the growth of cancer cells.

A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that probiotics improve intestinal digestion time by about 12 hours, increase the number of bowel movements by one factor, relieve constipation and facilitate bowel movement. The good news: probiotics are also hidden in a variety of non-dairy foods, like shredded cabbage with vinegar, pickles, soybeans, and mushrooms.

  1. You need bigger pants.

Not eating butter, ice cream, and whole milk is a surefire way to lose weight, right? It may not be. A long-term Swedish study found that people who ate a lot of dairy fat were more likely to be obese over a 12-year period than those who ate less dairy fat.

“Dairy is a rich source of fats and proteins, and because it is digested more slowly, it keeps you feeling full for longer,” says Black. Without dairy, it would be difficult to replace the fats and proteins that suppress hunger.

Black adds, “Replace protein and fats with simple carbohydrates that help you  gain weight  .” But if you don’t eat dairy products at all, eat at least saturated fats and protein-rich foods like nuts, seeds, eggs and legumes.

  1. You feel bloated.

The culprit is  soybeans  . “People tend to look for alternatives that have similar flavors and textures when leaving out a range of foods such as dairy,” says Black. Most dairy alternatives are based on soy. Such as soy cheese, soy milk, and soy butter.

“The problem is that soybeans are difficult to digest, especially if you increase your intake in one go,” says Black. Because soybeans contain sugar molecules called few sugars that the body cannot easily digest, they act as a barrier to the digestive system, causing  bloating.

  1. You must renew the life insurance policy and increase the amount.

According to a study by BMJ, drinking a glass of milk daily increases the risk of death by 15%. How scary! The researchers found that women who drank three or more cups of milk a day were twice as likely to die in the next two decades as those who drank less than one cup per day.

Researchers point the finger at galactose, a simple sugar in milk that has been shown to stimulate oxidative stress and low-grade inflammation, paving the way for the disease.

It is interesting to know that fermented dairy products, including yogurt and cheese, contain less or no galactose. Studies show that women who consume more of these foods, such as yogurt and cheese, are less likely to die.
