Description
Introduction to Digital Circuits – Digital Logic – RAHDG201 We will focus on the basics of designing and analyzing combinational logic circuits. This course covers the design and analysis of combinational logic circuits using basic logic gates and other building blocks such as multiplexers and ROMs. It includes the design and analysis of latches and flip-flops. A number of numerical problems are solved after each topic to understand the principles of the course.
Introduction to Digital Circuits – Digital Logic – RAHDG201 course describes the design of data path components: adders, multipliers, registers, shifters and counters. Design and analysis of state minimization synchronous state machines and an introduction to state assignment. Each topic will have many examples which will be reviewed briefly with different sections. At the end of each chapter there will be a quiz for you to test your understanding of that particular chapter. The main topic if this lesson is combinational and sequential logic circuits. Topics include number systems, Boolean algebra, logic families, medium-scale integrated circuits (MSI) and large-scale integrated circuits (LSI), analog-to-digital (AD) and digital-to-analog (DA) conversion, and other related topics.
