The Colored Pencils Drawing Masterclass course: Draw Amazing Art. Learn how to draw amazing, colorful and beautiful art using colored pencils! In this colored pencil course, you will learn all about materials, marking techniques, color theory, value and light, form and composition, as well as the principles and practices of effective colored pencil design. By the time you’ve finished this crayon master class, you’ll have produced a variety of colorful drawings that you can add to your collection or simply enjoy, including a drop of water, a globe, a still life John from Tomato, a frog, a character design. From imagination, landscape and portrait. The course is structured so that the lessons build on each other and there is something new to learn in each project. Alongside art projects, there are special sections on marking and materials (with exercises), color theory (with exercises) and transfer techniques (with exercises). The departments and projects of this course are:
Part 1, Introduction – Learn how to be successful in this course and do a “quick win” exercise to draw an accurate water drop.
Part 2, Mark Construction Methods and Materials – After learning all about required and optional materials, follow along and try different marking techniques (any set of crayons will work, but we We consider three different sets as examples).
Part 3, Designing a Globe Project – Learn about light, value, shading, and form when drawing a globe.
Section 4, Transfer Methods – Learn different methods of tracing and transferring from a photo or reference drawing for a useful base.
Part 5, Drawing a Still Life – Use different colors to draw an interesting tomato still life, and use optional Gamsol to blend and integrate for a smoother look.
Section 6, Color Theory – Learn about the different ways to use color in crayon drawings, through lectures and subsequent exercises.
Part 7, Drawing a Frog – Learn how to draw a colorful frog and adjust the scene a bit against the photo reference.
Section 8, Drawing a Character Sketch – Draw a character from imagination or trace and draw from reference. Instead of a gamsol, we use a cutter to help lay down the grain of the paper and create a more unified look.
Section 9, Drawing a Landscape – Draw an interesting landscape and learn how to create effective and subtle gradients as well as layering and blending techniques.
Section 10, Portrait Design – Layer colors to create a realistic and beautiful portrait design. This section begins with exercises to learn how to produce different skin tones.
In addition to approximately 25 hours of helpful video tutorials and demonstrations, the course also includes all photo reference support files and a complete PDF booklet with worksheets that include marking worksheets, art project worksheets, and color theory worksheets.
