FLAC3D company product Itasca It is a unique program for continuous Lagrangian analysis of various terrestrial phenomena. Although this program is a powerful product in the field of numerical calculations and has many applications in mechanical science, the main use of this program is in the fields of civil engineering, mining, and geomechanical problems in general. This program models and evaluates the non-linear behavior of structures and organizations built in soil, rock and other similar materials. In fact, these environments are placed together as interwoven elements. The geometry of each component is completely defined and dependent on its related factors and metrics. The user can change the geometry used by changing these parameters. Although the changes may be linear, the result of the changes made in all the elements may be non-linear.
In this situation, FLAC3D is able to model and evaluate these linear and non-linear behaviors well. This program is visual, but this does not mean that you do not need coding, you need coding in some parts to model complex states and also to achieve the many capabilities of this program.
