Description
Greening the Economy: Lessons from Scandinavia, the Greening Economy: Lessons from Scandinavia course is published by Coursera Academy. This course examines economic growth at four levels: individual, business, city, and national. We look at the relationships between these levels and provide practical examples of many of the complexities and solutions at these levels. A pioneer in advancing sustainability and combating climate change, Scandinavia is a unique starting point for learning about greening the economy. We will learn from many of the actions taken in Scandinavia since the 1970s, all of which are potentially relevant and useful to other countries and contexts. The International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University is an international center on strategies for sustainable solutions. IIIEE is ideally suited to understand and explain interdisciplinary issues in the green economy by drawing on the diverse experiences of its international staff.
