Description
AutoUpgrader is a component for making software updates. Delphi programmers can use this component to create update packages for their software without writing a single line of code, this component includes ready-made wizards that can be activated for different purposes, as well as in several languages for the user interface of the program. update uses and its interesting feature is that when the end user runs the update software, the program recognizes the current language of the user’s operating system and displays the program’s user interface in the same language. This component currently translates all wizards into 13 different languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, etc.
Of course, if you are not interested in using the pre-defined wizards of this program, you can easily design a custom wizard with the texts and images you want for all the steps. If you have placed a new version of your program in the encrypted web directory, you can do this by configuring the username and password to access the files, or allow this component to display the login window to the user when needed. And users can access the program by entering the appropriate username and password.
By using AutoUpgrader, the end users of your application will always use the latest version of your products. This package contains two components, one is acHTTP which is based on the web/HTTP protocol (which supports IE upload and cache, etc.) and the other one is acThread which is a thread based component for use in ActiveFirms. With this component, Delphi programmers no longer need to design basic update programs and can focus on the logic of their program and leave the rest of the tasks such as updating the program to components such as AutoUpgrader.
