Description
Faceshift studio is a facial motion capture software solution that transforms faces in animation. This software analyzes aspects of an actor’s face and describes them as a combination of basic terms, plus head and eye orientation. These descriptions are used to animate virtual characters for use in any situation such as film and game production that requires animated animation. The FaceShift Studio animation environment consists of three visual stages:
- Scan a set of modes to train your personal icon for tracking
- Record performance with real-time feedback and optionally improve accuracy in a post-processing step
- Animating virtual images in case of face change and exporting animation to animation software 3D Your favorite or connecting to an existing animation production line
Faceshift studio combines real-time tracking and high-quality offline processing in a simple and convenient software.
The first time you run the software, you have to select the data location of the application workspace. Workspace data including actor profiles and recorded clips, as well as Face Studio license and login data. The default path is $Home/Documents/faceshift. Click “Browse” to change the folder location. If you want to change the location later, go to Settings and change the workspace in the “General” tab (see the General Settings section)
