Course description
Ultimate Debugging is a course in which developers can master Go debugging software using the Delve debugger and become familiar with it. Whether you’ve never used a debugger in your life or you’re a Delve expert, all students will leave the course with new information to use in their daily development work and a hands-on experience. This course will initially focus on Delve, which is the de facto Go debugger. We’ll start with the basics and move to more advanced use cases over the course of 5 days. On the last day of class, we will explore the new tools and cover profiling / perf tools, how to use them effectively, and how to interpret data for root cause analysis.
Derek Parker Instructor of this course: Derek is the creator of Delve, a debugger for the Go programming language. He has been developing software for over a decade and has traveled the world speaking at conferences and workshops on debugging. After years of experience, Derek has put together the Ultimate Go Debugging Workshop to advance developers of all skill levels in the art of code debugging.
