Description
Mokhtarname series It is a television series about the life and uprising of Mukhtar Thaghafi, directed by Dawood Mirbagheri. This series tells the story of Mukhtar Thaghafi Makani Beh Abu Ishaq, who becomes bloodthirsty after the Ashura incident. This series was broadcasted in 40 60-minute episodes on the Islamic Republic of Iran Radio and Television and the last episode ended on August 7, 2018.
The shooting of Mokhtarnameh series started in 2003 and ended in July 2008. Filming of this series was done in Tehran, Qazvin, Takestan, Varamin, Abadan, Shushtar, Shahryar, Aran and Bidgol, Islamshahr, Sefidshahr desert and Shahroud. This series has 700 sequences, 100 of which are related to the 5 major wars of this film.
The first episode of Mukhtarnameh series was broadcasted on Friday, October 9, 2009, on the first channel of Sima. Also, iFilm channel started broadcasting this series for Arabic speaking audiences on January 14.

The director of the Mukhtarnameh series is Daoud Mirbagheri, and it is produced by Mahmoud Fallah, Ali Karim and Reza Asghari as the first assistant directors, Mahmoud Ardalan as the design and execution of the war scenes, Hamidreza Ashtianipour as the supervisor of the announcers, and Parviz Bahram, a veteran announcer, as the narrator and announcers, including Ali Hemat Momiwand, George Patrisi, Akbar Manani, Bijan Alimohammadi, Amir Hakimi, Hossein Erfani, Iraj Rezaei, Toraj Mehrzadian, Manouchehr Zindadel, Maryam Shirzad and Shawkat Hojjat were present. 110 main actors and 400 secondary actors play in this series.
The composer of Mokhtarnameh series was Amir Tausli, and the title music of this series was sung by Akbar Sultanali (actor of Naqsh Rostam, Gholam Shamar), and accompanied by the lullaby of Sadiqa Bahrani, Noha Khan Bushehri. Masoud Pakdel is also the photographer of the series.
