ANSYS Fluent is a computer-aided engineering software in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for modeling fluid flow and heat transfer in complex geometries. Fluent allows for complete network change and flow analysis with unstructured networks for complex geometries. The types of meshes that can be generated and received by this software group include grids with triangular and quadrilateral elements (for 2D geometries) and quadrilateral, hexagonal, hierarchical or wedge (for 3D geometries).
Ensys Fluent also allows the user to improve the grid (for example, shrinking or enlarging the grid to the required boundaries and locations in the geometry). This solution for optimization and networking gives the user the ability to refine results in areas with large vortices (such as the boundary layer, etc.). These capabilities significantly reduce the time it takes to produce a good network compared to solving in built-in networks. This software is written in C programming language and uses all the power and flexibility of this language.
