Description
Lumerical is a powerful software for designing and analyzing photonics and electromagnetics from the component stages to the system stages of the company’s product. ANSYS Is. In this edition of Lumerical, the electrical and photonic design tools for multiphysics analyzes of integrated photonics, photovoltaics, and are improved. Other applications of optoelectronics include thermally tuned waveguides, modulators, and improved switch matrices. Lumerical consists of four parts:
- FDTD: a comprehensive part of the software for solving 3D Maxwells. Capable of analyzing the interactions of UV, visible light and infrared radiation with complex structures
- MODE: A complete space for waveguide design to analyze and optimize integrated and planar optical waveguides, components and fibers
- INTERCONNECT: An integrated and photonic space for designing integrated optical flows, silicon photonics and optical connectors
- DEVICE: TCAD semiconductor device simulation for designing, analyzing and optimizing semiconductor optical electronic components
Features of Lumerical software:
- Injection of limited and metered beams with a constant slope that does not change with frequency. Beams with high numerical apertures, which also have variable and frequency-dependent profiles, can also be easily injected over any bandwidth.
- With the new BFAST feature in the FDTD section, you can inject plane waves onto periodic structures with a fixed slope that do not change with frequency.
- Parametric analysis and simulation of PICs can now be easily set up and run directly.
- Support Windows 10, Mac El Capitan, Linux RedHat 7 and CentOS 7
