Analysts say the battery of Apple iPhones will grow again with the iPhone 13-iPhone 13 family after a year of retreat. This is accompanied by some changes in the interior design of the phone.

One of the biggest complaints from Apple fans over the years has been the presence of smaller batteries under competitors under the iPhone. A new report has been released that shows the increase in the battery capacity of Apple iPhones and the use of larger batteries under the iPhone 13 series phones . The rumors also say that the next generation iPhone will experience some major design changes and will be more energy efficient.

How does the battery of Apple iPhones grow?

The source of these new rumors is Ming Chi Koo, a senior analyst at Apple, who recently mentioned in an article that a larger battery will be provided by all four iPhone 13 models. Ko says he expects the family’s handsets, which will launch in the second half of 2021, to have more battery capacity than the iPhone 12 series. What enables Apple to use larger batteries is the new interior design of many of the phone’s internal components.

The downside of using larger batteries in the new iPhone models is that they weigh more than the iPhone 12 models, says Koo. Components that have been reduced to make room for larger batteries include a SIM card slot integrated with the main board and a front optical module. But at the same time the presence of larger batteries can mean longer device battery life.

In the iPhone 12 series, Apple had made the batteries even smaller than the iPhone 11. But at the same time, their battery life remained unchanged due to less energy-intensive internal hardware. The next generation of iPhones is expected to cover different 5G bands, and access to the 5G network could mean more power consumption. So enlarging the batteries is one solution.

There are other rumors that the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max will be equipped with a ProMotion display with a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Controlling the refresh rate of the display can also have a significant effect on increasing battery life.
