Description

Design-Led Strategy: Design thinking for business strategy and entrepreneurship course Design Strategy: Design thinking for business strategy and entrepreneurship is offered by the online university Coursera It has been published.

This course is for entrepreneurial managers looking for the tools and techniques to introduce exciting and innovative products or services to market quickly and with quality customer insights. It is applicable to a wide range of organizations from small to medium enterprises to enterprises and across a wide range of industry sectors. The problem that this course helps to solve is the continuous pressure of managers to innovate and introduce new products and services for their customers. However, many creative ideas get “stuck” in the boardroom or are subject to intra-organizational tensions or groupthink. This course provides methodologies to overcome these challenges.

We build on the widely recognized concept of design thinking, but update it and apply it to advance business strategy and entrepreneurship. Over five weeks, you’ll learn what “design strategy” is, how it differs from traditional design thinking and business strategy, and how it can be used to improve existing products or services in your business or introduce breakthrough ideas. We will also provide an exclusive and in-depth look at the application and practical impact of these strategies at one of Australia’s newest and most innovative financial institutions, UBank, and global reinsurance giant, Swiss Re. Through conversations with senior executive leadership teams, including the CEO of UBank, we will explore how they have embedded innovation through design thinking. By the end of this course, you’ll have a set of tools to inform product design and development for your startup, or to expand the product roadmap of an established organization.
