Adobe Character Animator is a powerful program from Adobe company to produce character animations from two-dimensional images created with Photoshop and Illustrator software. Using a webcam and microphone, you can apply any kind of movement and sound to the desired character. The interesting feature of this program is checking and recognizing facial expressions. This means that the program can distinguish when you are laughing or when you are frowning. As soon as you laugh, the character will laugh, or when you are surprised, the character will be surprised. And more interestingly, all movements and facial expressions and input sounds are checked and processed in real time. You can design the required characters yourself in Photoshop or Illustrator and then import them into this software or use the ready templates available in Character Animator.
In this program, you can add new movements such as turning your head or other gestures. The program is able to coordinate the movements of your lips well with the movements of the character’s lips while speaking. Also, based on physical laws, you can create interesting animations for states such as falling, collision, jumping, etc. This program has a very good coordination with other Adobe products, and if you have worked with Photoshop and Illustrator software before, you will feel comfortable here. The same structure of toolbars, menus, task history and the famous toolbar is here in another form. The program performs the main parts of the character’s movements as much as possible, but in any case, you can use the program’s facilities to manually adjust the character’s movements more precisely.
