Blackwalk Crossing by Independent PaperSeven Studios, a former Disney Black Rock studio with a history of working on almost mediocre games, is their first new studio game.
The story of Blackwalk Crossing is written by the game’s author, The Room, by Oliver Reid-Smith; Which can be said to be the best part of the game. You play Scarlett with her brother Wein Finn on a train where mysterious things happen. The game’s characters are also almost interesting and memorable, and you are faced with a very emotional and beautiful story.
The gameplay consists of riddles and puzzles. Game puzzles are mostly children’s games, such as standing upright (!), Arranging drawings in the right order, or searching for different objects. From time to time, the puzzles and riddles of the game seem repetitive, and the game mechanisms become tedious and the controls become annoying after a while.
Another of the best points of the game is its wonderful and memorable music and it can be said that the combination of the game’s music and its story is one of the best points of the game. The music of the game is perfectly in tune with the atmosphere and the sound of the game is of good quality. It can be said that the composer of this game has done a really great job.
The game’s art graphics look amazing. Although there are problems with its technical graphics, such as poor in-game textures compared to today’s games or their dry cassettes, the game’s details sometimes look great.
Blackwalk Crossing is an interesting title with a beautiful story and great music that eats away at technical problems, and if we worked a little on the graphics and gameplay mechanisms, we would definitely be faced with a masterpiece, although its good story will give you Playing it will convince. This game is recommended to all lovers of this genre.
