Description
Advanced Neurobiology I, Advanced Neurobiology Part 1 is published by Coursera Academy. Neuroscience is an amazing branch of science that deals with how our brain perceives the outside world, how our brain thinks, how our brain reacts to the outside world, and how neural connections deteriorate during disease or aging. We are trying to understand the molecular, cellular and circuit arrangement of how the nervous system works. Through this course, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of basic neuroanatomy, electrical signal transmission, movement, and several diseases in the nervous system.
This Advanced Neurobiology course consists of 2 parts (Advanced Neurobiology I and Advanced Neurobiology II, the second part will be online later). They are related in content but separate in scoring and certification, so you can choose one or both. It is recommended to take them sequentially and it is great if you already have a basic understanding of biology.
What you will learn
