Description
Numerical Methods for Engineers, numerical methods training course for engineers; Published by Coursera Academy. This course covers the most important numerical methods an engineer needs to know, including finding roots, matrix algebra, integration and proportionality, ordinary and partial differential equations. We learn how to use MATLAB to solve numerical problems, and online access to MATLAB and the MATLAB classroom is given to all students who enroll. We assume that students are already familiar with the principles of matrix algebra, differential equations and calculus. They should have a working knowledge of a programming language and be willing to learn MATLAB. This course includes 74 videos of short lectures and MATLAB demonstrations. After every lecture or demonstration, there are questions to solve or plans to write. The course takes place over six weeks, and at the end of each week, there is an assessed test and a longer programming project.
