Description
Problem Solving Using Computational Thinking is a training course on computational thinking and the process of solving physical problems with software and programming solutions published by Coursera Educational Academy. One of the wrong assumptions in connection with computers and computer systems is the issue of thinking in them. Computers cannot think like humans, but it is possible to set a series of commands for the computer and then teach the computer how to perform these commands. The process of specifying instructions for the computer and specifying the steps to execute them is called programming. Before starting the programming and coding process, programmers must be familiar with their software commands and goals and then express them in the form of understandable commands for the computer.
Computational thinking or computer thinking is one of the thinking styles like critical thinking that enables you to break a problem into smaller parts and then study each part carefully. In the end, you should be able to provide a comprehensive and effective software solution for this problem. This training course is completely project-oriented and during the course you will provide software solutions for a series of real problems and challenges. This training course is recommended for all beginner programmers and can completely change your way of thinking in relation to the world of programming and coding.
What you will learn in the Problem Solving Using Computational Thinking course:
- Familiarity with different parts and stages of computational thinking such as abstraction, initial identification of the problem, breaking down the problem into smaller parts, identifying patterns, writing algorithms and evaluating algorithms and different solutions.
- Practical implementation of computational thinking process and solving real and physical problems with software solutions
- Basic knowledge of programming and its importance
- Changing the user’s way of thinking about the programming process
