The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking is a course from Google’s IT Support Professional certification series published on Coursera. This course is designed to provide an overview of computer networks. We’ll cover everything from the basics of modern network technologies and protocols to an overview of the cloud to practical applications and network troubleshooting.
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe computer networks in terms of a five-layer model
- Understand all standard protocols associated with TCP/IP communications

The fourth part discusses the topics related to DNS, DHCP and NAT, in the next part the history of the Internet and different ways of connecting to the Internet will be explained, and in the final part the future of computer networks and troubleshooting skills will be examined.
