Description
STeelCON, one Engineering program For the analysis and design of steel formwork connections, it conforms to Eurocode 3. The supported connections are multi-parameter and allow the user to reach the optimal design. For complex connections, this program uses automatic optimization capabilities. STeelCON has the ability to optimize connections for maximum strength or optimal design. Also, in this program, a tree of connection variables that meet the user’s needs is generated. The user also determines the components that the program is allowed to use, such as stiffeners, bolt types, bolt qualities and more.
STeelCON can also be used as part of the SOFiSTiK structural analysis system to frame and measure connections between parts of a steel structure. The user can select the intersection of vectors through a graphical interface. This program automatically detects the participating parts and connects them to the connections. The analysis data of a steel load prepared by other programs can also be imported into the program in the form of an ASCII file.
