Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the rocket domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. Description

FPGA Embedded Design, Part 2 – Basic FPGA Training is the name of the second part of the FPGA chip training series, in which you will learn the basic concepts of FPGA.

Time to get your hands on a real FPGA!

In the second part of our FPGA chip tutorial series, we’ll have a real FPGA to bring our designs to life. We will use an FPGA development board from Terasic. We program a Cyclone V FPGA from Altera/Intel using the Quartus Prime development kit. This course consists of two main parts:

  1. FPGA Basics, where we’ll cover the essentials of FPGAs, how they work, what they can and can’t do.
  2. Hands-on tutorial, where we design simple hardware and download it to an FPGA development board. No purchase is required for this second installment, but it will certainly help you keep track of your board and tinker with this new superpower in the future.

Who is this course suitable for?

  • Anyone who wants to learn FPGA design.
  • Developers curious about FPGA Design.
  • Engineers who want to learn about FPGA.

What you will get in the FPGA Embedded Design, Part 2 – Basic FPGA Training course:

  • Build an FPGA-embedded solution from scratch using Altera/Intel FPGA and software.
  • Apply your Verilog knowledge to real applications with FPGA.
