Electronic Corrosion Engineer or ECE for short is a tool to quantitatively estimate the amount of depreciation and select materials for oil and gas production systems and processing facilities. At the heart of this program is a model for analyzing depreciation and selecting materials, which works accurately based on experimental data and calibration studies for pipelines. This program has valuable tools. For example, there is a tool to predict the corrosion rate for carbon steel under different conditions. There are other tools for risk prediction and assessment of carbon steel. Another tool of this software is to evaluate corrosion-resistant alloys, which introduces the best alloy based on different environmental conditions and automatically performs the risk of erosion, cracking and stress testing. To calculate the overall costs of the life cycle of carbon steel and corrosion-resistant alloys, a tool has been considered that can be compared two by two for each item.
