Description
Introduction to Docker and Containers course. Docker containers have become the most common part of the application packaging and deployment process. Large-scale tech giants like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft rely on them – so developers need to know how to use containers. A Docker Container is a lightweight, self-contained, executable package that contains everything needed to run an application: code, runtime, system tools, system libraries, and configuration. Docker simplifies the development lifecycle by allowing developers to work in standardized environments using local containers that deliver your applications and services. Containers are great for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows. In this course, Nooruddin introduces Docker and Containerization technology, why it is useful and its clear advantages. He covers how to install Docker, how to successfully run containers, and how to professionally containerize applications with a Dockerfile. This course provides a glimpse into real-world applications to demonstrate how the containerization and deployment process works. Dr. Nuruddin Sadavi is a consultant in the field of machine/deep learning and data science. He has several years of experience in various fields including data manipulation and analysis. He received his Ph.D. From the University of Birmingham, England, he is the winner of two international scientific software development competitions.
