In this game, you will experience the main battles that took place during the three Lord of the Rings movies as a soldier. Players can choose their army, and this feature allows you to experience the said battles in the army of Sarans and Orcs. Most of the gameplay is limited to killing a certain number of enemies or defending an area from enemies, and there is no variation in the course of the game. Of course, the existence of a series of interesting and unpredictable events in the fights makes the game fun and engaging in some moments.
Depending on the army you choose, Sauran will either take over the entire Middle Earth or fail altogether. The Lord of the Rings: Conquest is a 2009 action game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It is derived from The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, and borrows many gameplay mechanics from Pandemic’s Star Wars: Battlefront games. The game allows the player to play as both the forces of good and evil, but unlike The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth, the latter option is based around Sauron stopping the One Ring from being destroyed and using it to regain his lost power.
