The Messenger game In recent years, we have seen a growing number of games that,

inspired by old titles, especially the 80s and 90s, intend to recreate their experience and create a sense of nostalgia. Most of these titles are completely loyal to the roots of the games they are inspired by and make little change in their formula. Inspired by these games, Sabotage Studio has presented the fascinating title The Messenger. This game narrates the last group of human survivors in the world. According to a legend, most of the human population was destroyed by demons, and although there is no news about them at the moment, after a while they return to the goal of complete destruction of humans. In the meantime, the only hope of human beings is a Western hero who rushes to their rescue and imposes a very serious task on them: carrying a scroll to the highest peak of the mountain.

The Messenger game starts with a few simple dialogues. Its story is apparently nothing but the onslaught of demons. But it is enough to add the element of “play time” to it to get a remarkable effect. The game is actually a retro-modern work, and many of its elements owe much to the titles released in the 1980s and 1990s. The story of the game seems very simple and does not seem to be particularly complicated. But it is with progress that the opposite is fully proved. In one part of the game, you are suddenly confronted with an extremely unexpected revelation, and then the game continues due to a story twist. Just when you think the game has no other story to offer you, the second big revelation comes crashing down on you. This game is great both in terms of story and that its own gameplay has been able to convey a lot of emotions to the player.

The Messenger is humanity’s quest in the last evil twist. The game’s dialogues are really skillfully written, and not only have they been able to inject the right characterization into the game’s characters and keep them in mind, but they also have great humor. The gameplay of this game expands every time and new effects are given to it. The game’s boss fights in the other corners are fantastic and require quick reactions. There are two music albums in the style of 8-bit and 16-bit music, and it has given other effects to the game. Guide humanity through your darkest days. If you are interested in this style, take a look at Dead Cells and Ori and the Blind Forest .

About This Game:

The game begins with a village of ninjas being attacked by a Demon King. It is then that a supposed “Western Hero” appears and gives a scroll to one of the surviving ninjas, appointing him as “The Messenger” and telling him to deliver it to the top of a mountain. During his journey, the Messenger is aided by a mysterious blue-robed shopkeeper who provides him with upgrades and a demon named Quarble who helps to save him from death.

After traveling through various areas and meeting a variety of foes turned friend, the Messenger arrives at the Tower of Time and encounters more blue-robed figures, who send him 500 years into the future to defeat the Demon King’s general, Barma’thazël. Upon doing so, the Messenger loops around the world to the ninja village, where he, having reached the point of a cycle where he becomes the Western Hero himself,
