Complete Solidworks Beginners Course. This Solidworks course is built with beginners in mind and will help you learn everything about Solidworks from the ground up. This course starts from the ground up assuming you know nothing about Solidworks and the basics like navigation tools, setting units and building simple designs are introduced first hand. You will gradually learn to create simple as well as complex 3D parts using part modeling tools. Rather than explaining how tools and commands work, this course focuses on how to use these tools and commands in a real-world situation, and hence almost all videos are explained with examples of real-world applications. Currently, this course covers the modeling, assembly and drafting parts of Solidworks. Each chapter includes video lessons, practice exercises, and quizzes to help you assess your performance in each chapter. At the end of the course, there is a hands-on project where you will learn to build a connecting rod from scratch, including its smaller components, as well as assemble it and turn the assembly and parts into ready-to-build drawings. After completing the course you will be able to create your own parts, assemblies and drawings using Solidworks. You can also prepare plans and ready-to-build parts with appropriate draft specifications and standards. There are no prerequisites for the course, but you must have access to Solidworks software on a Windows operating system. If you are a student, you can get a student edition of Solidworks from approved vendors, and the student edition is available at a fraction of the cost of the Solidworks software and is almost exactly the same as the full software.
