Here students will discover a new framework for learning that does not require GPUs. We will learn how to implement multitasking in Python and use it to train multiple agents in parallel. We go beyond the paper’s basic implementation and implement a recent improvement in reinforcement learning known as generalized advantage estimation. We will test our agent in the Pong environment from Atari’s Open AI gamification library and achieve great performance in just a few hours.
