Course Siemens PLC Programming Using SCL with MODBUS – Part 03. After SCL-1 and SCL-2, I have brought another interesting training related to SCL programming. In this course you will be able to learn SCL programming related to Modbus RS-485 Communication. After this course you will be able to easily communicate with multiple devices based on Modbus RS-485 Communication. In this course, I have used Modbus Master, Modbus Poll and TIA Portal V17 software for understanding. Modbus Poll software is used to simulate Modbus Read and Write Data with Real PLC using RS-485 communication cable. Using the training of this course, you can communicate with Modbus VFD and Servo Drive, Modbus Energy Meter, Modbus Based Any Controller. I have used DTECH USB to RS-485 communication converter cable to communicate with PLC and Modbus Poll software on PC. This cable is common and very easily available. For PLC, I use Siemens S7-1200 CPU1214 DC/DC/DC PLC and CB1241 Modbus Communication Card connected on top of PLC. Siemens S7-1200 PLC has a wide range of Modbus communication library and in this course I will explain how you can use this library and ready to use this course program. In this course I have added some practical sessions that show how to do communication wiring with PLC and CB1241 communication card.
