Course description
Statistics with R – Beginner Level is a beginner level course for teaching statistical analysis using R. In this course, topics such as calculating statistical indices in R, how to make a cross table, how to make a scatter diagram or how to calculate different statistical tests such as one-sample t test are comprehensively reviewed. First, you learn how to manipulate data in R to prepare it for analysis—how to filter data frames, recode variables, and calculate new variables. Then we will calculate the figures and statistical indicators including average, median, standard deviation, skewness, elongation, etc. in the entire population as well as the subgroups of the society. At the end of this course, you will be well acquainted with how to perform statistical procedures in R.
What you will learn in this course:
- Data changes in R (filtering and sorting data, recoding and calculating variables)
- Determining skewness and elongation
- Making frequency tables
- Create histograms and cumulative frequency charts
- Making boxplot diagrams
- Finding outliers in data
- Calculation of statistical indicators such as mean, median, mode, etc.
- Determining the statistical indicators based on the subgroups of the statistical population
- And …
