FAT32 :

FAT or File Allocation Table This type of file system is the oldest type of file system.

Which was first introduced in Windows 95 and replaced the FAT16 file system. .

Used by many storage memories, including portable storage memories such as flash memory and memory cards.

Originally used for low volume storage spaces.

NTFS file system is used for large storage media such as 1TB drives.

NTFS :

New Technology File System Newer versions of Windows from XP and above use the NTFS file system to format partitions, and it can also be used for peripheral drives. The size limit of partitions and files in NTFS is so large that it is unimaginable!

+ HFS :

The Mac OS uses the HFS + file system for internal partitions. Of course, on Mac operating systems, you can also use the FAT32 file system to read and write data, but in NTFS, you can only read data by default.

ExT2 / 3/4 :

This type of filesystem is found in Linux, and version 2 of this filesystem is old and does not have features such as writing in computer crash mode or shutting it down, and the information is lost. In version 3 these features have been added and these problems have been fixed but the file system speed has been reduced, version 4 is newer and faster.

These filesystems are not supported on Windows and Mac. And to access the files stored in this format, a separate software is required. It is therefore recommended that the Linux EXT4 partitions and portable storage devices be FAT32 or NTFS. Linux is capable of reading and writing on FAT32 and NTFS.

Btrfs :

This file system is a new generation of Linux file systems and is being developed. Of course, this file system does not exist by default in Linux distributions, but it will soon be an alternative to Ext4. There are several file systems for Unix-based operating systems.
