Direct installation of the Mac operating system, which is a proprietary OS for Apple computers ,

The process is long and has a lot of trouble! The best way for people who do not have a MacBook and want to get acquainted with this operating system; It is installed virtually.

To go through the installation process together, it is better to download the tools we need right now.

 

1- VMware Workstation software

2- Download macOS Catalina operating system (as VMDK file) for vmware software

3- VMware-Unlocker software; normally vmware does not have the option to install apple mac os and we have to unlock Vmware with this tool

 

Install MacOs Catalina operating system on vmware

first stage:

Navigate to the VMware-Unlocker software folder and right-click on the win-install icon.

Click Run As Administrator. The CMD then opens and the tool is installed automatically.


 

Second stage :

Open the VMware application and click on Create a New Virtual Machine on the Home tab.

In the page that opens, click Next.


 

Step 3 :

Select the option  I will install the operating system later  and click Next.


 

Step 4:

Select Apple Mac OS X and from the Version section   select 10.14 or 10.15 based on the downloaded MacOs Catalina version.

Step 5:

Select the virtual machine name and installation location.


 

Step 6 :

In this step, specify the amount of RAM and CPU relative to the system hardware resources.


 

Step 7 :

There is no need to do anything special at this stage and you just have to  click Next (do not change the parameters)

 


 

Step 8 :

Select the create new virtual disk  option and click Next.


Step 9 :

In this step, there are two options. If you want to move the virtual operating system file later, select the  split virtual disk into multiple files  option.

Otherwise, select the  store virtual disk as a single file option.

It also improves the performance of the virtual operating system.


 

Step 10 :

Now everything is ready. Click Finish  .


Step 11 :

Now it is time to edit the virtual machine system. Click   Edit virtual machine settings  .

Important Note: Do not turn on the virtual machine at this stage!


 

Step Twelve:

First select the Hard  Disk section  .

Then remove it  . Then  select the Add option.   In the window that opens, select  Hard Disk  and click  Next  .


 

Step 13:

In this section, do not change the option and just click  Next  .


The final step of installing Mac on vmware

Here you need to select the use an existing virtual disk  option  and then  Next  .

In the window that opens, click Browse  and then the file. VMDK  Mac OS  Catalina downloaded to the folder where you extracted,

Select (if it gives a message, select Keep Existing Format) and click Finish  .


 The operating system installation is complete and you can run it.


 

This operating system is the same system that runs on Apple’s own Macs and has all the features.

All updates and Mac programs can be installed on the system.

You can change the parameters such as RAM, CPU and memory allocated to the system through the Edit virtual machine settings section.

Allocate the RAM for the Mac so that at least 2 GB (if the PC RAM is 4 GB) or at least 3 GB (if the PC RAM is 8 GB) remains for the main Windows system.
