The Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti graphics card was introduced at a price of $ 399. The most important features of this GPU are support for instant ray tracing and DLSS technologies.
Nvidia ‘s famous company last night unveiled the Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti graphics card as the first 3060 series graphics card. Priced at $ 399, the RTX 3060 is now the cheapest graphics card in Nvidia’s new Ampere architecture and will replace the RTX 2060, which launched at the same price last year.
The RTX 3060 Ti uses a scaled-down version of the GA104 GPU used in the $ 499 RTX 3070. The result is fewer SM units, fewer CUDA, RT and Tensor cores, fewer tissue units, and of course less ROP. In addition, the 3060 TI clock speed in Boost mode has dropped from 1730 MHz to 1665 MHz compared to 3070.

The graphics processor on both cards uses 14GB / s of 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit memory interface and 448GB / s of memory bandwidth. The design of both is the same in the Founders Edition model, which includes two-axis fans with a bus design for one of the fans. Nvidia says the RTX 3060 Ti is faster than the RTX 2080 Super, which is the second fastest-growing GeForce graphics card at $ 699.
The raw power of this graphics card is not the only thing that Nvidia focuses on, but this famous company has tried to integrate a complete ecosystem with this graphics card. Instant ray tracing is one of the features inherited from the 20 series, and now we are witnessing the presence of its second generation in the 30 series cards. Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti can play any title with RTX or DirectX Raytracing.
This GPU uses Nvidia DLSS technology or Deep Learning Super Sampling to help its performance. DLSS is an AI-based sampling solution that uses machine learning to reconstruct higher resolution images while having lower base resolutions. Nvidia has expanded the list of titles that support these two technologies, topped by CyberPunk 2077 .
Owners of this graphics card can also take advantage of other features of GeForce graphics cards. These features include the following:
- Nvidia Reflex that reduces system latency.
- Nvidia Broadcast provides a set of features for streamers and users who want to use video calling applications.
- GeForce Experience is used for in-game features such as gameplay recording.
- GeForce Now is used for cloud gaming.
- NVENC encoder for users who are looking for streaming or video encoding.
The RTX 3060TI graphics card will be available from Nvidia itself from December 2nd. Other distributors, including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac, will also offer a standard, overclocked version of the graphics card at the factory.
