Thanks to extensive cooperation with Google, Samsung has managed to run Smart Things on Android Otto. Users can now access their Android Auto Dashboard directly from devices compatible with this platform.
Customers can also unlock the doors of compatible cars with their Galaxy phones with the Digital Key feature. You can also share this digital key with family and friends; Provided, of course, that they use Samsung phones or this platform. The car park can also be tracked using the SmartThings Find feature (via UWB) and a compatible phone like the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Samsung is working with CCC and automakers such as Audi, BMW, Ford and Genesis to standardize its digital switch.
