The Samsung Galaxy A71 was upgraded directly from One UI 2.5 to One UI 3.1 and Android 11. This update has been released today with a size of 2.7 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 was one of the company’s best-selling phones in 2021. This phone was initially introduced with the One UI 2.0 user interface and Android 10 operating system. As a popular device, this phone has always received all the new software features along with software updates. And now it seems that Samsung has directly released the Android 11 and One UI 3.1 update for this phone.
Samsung Galaxy A71 update to One UI 3.1
Since December 2020, Samsung has been offering a stable update of One UI 3.0 (based on Android 11) for eligible devices worldwide. The company had released software updates for some of its devices ahead of schedule. However, although the Galaxy E51 also received this update, for whatever reason the Galaxy E71 did not receive this update. The Samsung Galaxy E71 has now received the One UI 3.1 update introduced with the Galaxy S21 series to be upgraded directly from One UI 2.5 to this version, just like the Galaxy Tab S6 tablet.
Polish users of the Samsung Galaxy A71 have already reported receiving this update. Samsung has released this version with firmware number A715FXXU3BUB5 and security patch for February 2021 for its users. The size of this OTA update is about 2.7 GB.
The update is expected to be released to other users of the popular Galaxy E71 in other parts of the world in the coming days. If you own this device, you can go to your phone’s settings and then the Software Update path. Check out this update here.
