Description
DIContainers is a collection of hundreds of container classes for Delphi that can be used for Embarcadero, Codegear and Borland environments. These classes are arranged in four general categories: hash, doubly linked list, array tree, and vector. The use of this collection does not require any special customization, and unlike other libraries, it is organized in such a way that the data and the structure of the classes are separate from the library. Data is actually what is placed in lists as separate items. For example, textual data, numerical data, etc. These data are responsible for memory management and its correct use. They have also provided methods for copying, comparing, providing input and output streams, etc. After using the data, it is automatically deleted and the memory space is freed.
The structure also describes the arrangement method of data items. That the items are placed together in a structure like a linked list or in the form of a vector and other existing structures are placed in the framework of the tasks of this part. This is the structure that allows you to decide on the speed of adding items to the list, their priority and delay, management and buffering, etc. Interestingly, you can easily use the data with different structures. You don’t have to do much to switch between the two structures, just enough to meet the organizational needs of that method.
