Description
Introduction to AUTOSAR/OSEK RTOS I course. Learn the most common real-time operating system in the automotive software industry. The OSEK operating system is the standard platform that runs on almost all electronic control units (ECUs) in modern vehicles to support various application software components. This course provides an overview of what the OSEK real-time operating system is and how it works using the Keil Uvision ARM emulator and/or the TM4C123 evaluation kit. In this course, we start with a quick introduction to the OSEK OS kernel and its internal features. The SW development cycle in an OSEK-based environment will be discussed, including the formal description of OIL (O SEK I implementation language) and the system generation phase as part of the compilation process. After this task management module in OSEK operating system we will discuss task types, task state machine, task attributes and services provided by OSEK core to manipulate application tasks. Then, resource management including resource concepts, shared resource problems such as priority inversion and deadlock, and the priority ceiling model required by the OSEK standard to solve these problems are discussed. This course includes lots of examples to make sure you have a thorough and practical understanding. Now let’s start.
