Simerics-MP software is a set of core 3D CFD capabilities and physics modules that enable accurate virtual testing for multi-purpose (MP) applications including single-phase or multiphase flow, turbulence, cavitation/aeration, heat and mass transfer, particles and interaction. Performs fluid and structure. Simerics-MP solves multiphase flow and heat transfer using a volume of fluid (VOF) approach with a high-resolution interface capture algorithm. Both implicit and explicit methods are fast and robust with clear phase interfaces and excellent mass/volume conservation for each phase.

Using the finite volume RANS approach, Simerics-MP solves the flows of compressible and incompressible fluids, calm and turbulent, internal and external, and steady and unsteady fluids. The solver covers all flow velocities from creeping flow to supersonic flow. It also solves non-Newtonian fluid as well as fluid with variable properties such as real gas. Simerics-MP has a generic masher. It generates body-fit binary tree mesh directly and automatically from CAD surfaces. No need to clean CAD. User can always get a valid mesh even with default settings. The mesher also provides easy and intuitive ways to modify the mesh in a user-defined area. The produced mesh has very high quality and very high efficiency.
