Autodesk Revit – beginner to an intermediate level is the name of the introductory training course for Autodesk Revit software published by Udemy Academy. During this course, you will first learn the installation process and make sure that you have installed the correct library and region template. In this course, the metric libraries and templates will be used, but if you want to use another one, don’t worry. All processes will be the same and if a component from the Metrim library is used that is not available in your library, you will always be offered another one. If you have no previous experience with Revit or any CAD-based software, don’t worry. The course will start from scratch so you can build your own Revit models. This course begins with a brief introduction to the basics of a building, what BIM is, and then moves on to the basics of Revit. From the terminology Revit uses to the tools and interface. Then we start building our project and introduce new tools and features as we progress. Add base elements, such as surfaces and grids. Structural components such as structural columns and architectural main and secondary components such as walls, windows, doors, floors, stairs, ceilings, curtain walls and ceilings. Then we take it to the next level and learn how to create 2D details, how to label components, create schedules and legends, render images and video tutorials. Finally, we set up our sheets and send them for printing. Along with the videos, course notes along with some files are provided for you to work with. After completing the course, test your new skills by taking the final exam, consisting of 40 questions!
