Automating Kubernetes with GitOps course. This training course is designed to teach the key concepts of infrastructure automation using GitOps. This course starts with an introduction to the core topics of DevOps, pipelines and git, and shows you how to automatically build images from code. This course builds on your previous knowledge of infrastructure automation with Terraform and Ansible and goes over how to use GitOps operators in a Kubernetes environment and build a custom operator. Finally, you will also learn how to use operators provided by ecosystems such as Tekton and Argo CD. To participate in this course, it is recommended to have basic knowledge of Kubernetes. Understanding the Basics: Teaches the basics by covering DevOps, GitOps and how to work with Pipelines.
From Code to Image: Teaches how to code from an image and explains more about creating container images based on the code you have in Git.
Infrastructure Automation: It is about infrastructure automation. Covers how to deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration as code using Ansible.
From Image to Application: It’s about GitOps and how to go from running container images to running applications on Kubernetes. It also comes with a short introduction to running applications on Kubernetes.
Using Kubernetes Ecosystem Solutions: Covers GitOps solutions that come from the Kubernetes ecosystem, including observability, Tekton pipelines, and automatic code updates.
